CamsCreative has only been around for a little over a year at the time of this review, but it definitely made an impact in the adult community.
Although it might be a rather new site, the company behind it has years of experience managing adult cam sites. ImLive has been around for ages and it’s still going strong despite facing a lot of competition from rival sites like LiveJasmin or Chaturbate.
It’s annoying, I can’t see who’s online!
That’s true, we felt the same way. It seems that the only way to see what this site is about is to have a look at the teaser videos they show on the first page and by looking at the flashy and full of color graphics they have displayed all over the place, it’s not to our liking at all.
It feels like they did the design by cutting off some magazines from the Golden Age of Comic Books.
They do have a very compelling reason to join their site and that’s 150 minutes of video chat for free.
Since there’s not much to look at as a guest, let’s dig in and see what this site is all about.
The signup process seems to be a two step one, first you enter your username, email address and password, then you’re asked your credit card details for a membership of $4.95 USD.
NOTICE: The $4.95 USD membership is a three days trial one at the end of which you will automatically be billed $33.95 USD each month starting at the end of the 3 days initial trial.
They also have a pre-checked cross sale to sexart.com, $4.95 USD for the first 3 days then $39.95 USD.
That’s something we could have lived without, cross sales are not something we enjoy seeing on a live cam site.
What’s the site all about?
Once we were able to sign up for an account we got to see some more of the site.
The whole idea revolves around a few cam models doing some specific type of cam show, one that you’re not likely to find anywhere else. It’s basically a theme show, each model having her own theme. For example, a model may choose to perform in her kitchen, cooking while other may prefer to work out and so on.
It’s not a ground breaking concept, but the idea to put it together under one brand name is new.
Tell me about the cam girls!
The site has the same models online like ImLive.com, we couldn’t find any exclusive models on camscreative. Even the girls doing “Creative Shows” are basically the same that you can find on Imlive, so nothing special there.
What’s special is that there are well over 1000 models online and a lot of them may choose to go into a creative show at any point.
There are usually about 10-12 models in that type of show, so your choices might feel limited. If that’s the case, you can always go for the traditional type of private chat, there’s a lot to choose from.
Pretty much the same as in ImLive, no point in going into too much detail here. What’s worth mentioning is that most of the cam girls seem to be streaming in HD. The quality is pretty good, but it also depends on the chathost’s internet connection.
How do you have fun?
Well, the creative shows are the interesting part of the site, so we’ll just cover that for now.
It’s kind of a group show that’s biller on a per minute basis, there is no free chat here.
Once you enter a show you need to tip if you want to direct the action, like tell the model what to do, how to sit etc.
I found the models to be pretty responsive to my requests, they were more than happy to do as I asked, with a smile on their faces.
Is it expensive?
This is the amazing part about cams creative and I like to think that this is part of the reason they came up with this name. It’s insanely cheap.
First of all, it’s a membership based site and as I mentioned before, you need to pay $4.95 USD at the time of the registration, which is a trial period that lasts for 3 days.
Once those 3 days are over, you’ll automatically be billed $33.95 USD every 30 days until you cancel.
The good news is that for the first 3 days, you get 150 minutes of video chat that you can use in the creative shows. You’ll get an additional 200 minutes of video chat every month as long as you don’t cancel your membership.
This is a fantastic good deal, 200 minutes at an average $2/min rate on most cam sites out there would be $400 USD. You pay $33.95 USD!
So what do you do when those minutes are over? You buy “treat credits” a name they gave for tokens. You’ll probably need those from the start though if you want to tip any of the models or go into a private chat with any of the girls not doing a creative show.
The 200 minutes you get per month only give you access to the creative show.
There are a lot of things done wrong on cams creative. Cross sales, design, too few models doing creative shows just to name a few.
The good thing about it are obviously the free minutes that you get. Even if you just want to test out the product, you only pay about $5 USD and you get 150 minutes of video chat. Yes, you can’t go into private chat or tip the models, but you have access to some pretty hardcore stuff, cheaply.
